The Rise of JRSFurnitures

One day, I received a call from a client who wanted a customized bed that would fit in her unit and because we do carpentry work she presumed that we can also do customized furnitures. I accepted the challenge and dealt with her requirement. So I looked resources who could help me do it. After that opportunity I got an idea to incorporate everything into one service: JRSContractors, “One Call Does It All”. From a bare room into a cozy room, from start to finish, all furnitures in, and maintenance are all in. A service at very affordable. But in executing this business venture, big capital is needed. Again I looked up in the sky and couldn’t imagine how big is God. So why I worried, I said to myself.  I trusted God and I let Him led me the way where to go and to start. I looked for suppliers who could tie up with me and I thank God I found them. In my experience, the first year of business is the most critical part. Being an owner, you must be a multi-tasker. I am the marketer, sales personnel, estimator, purchaser, deliverywoman, controller, etch. I can’t foget my experience when I go with the delivery. Even it’s already midnight, I’m still there to guide them to my client. I can’t imagine even it is already Noche Buena, while everyone is celebrating the Christmas with their family, my youngest and I is still  in the middle of nowhere looking for the house of clients. I learned to be a painter. I learned to look for the cheapest price. I learned to be creative and artistic. I learned to labor hard. I don’t feel weary instead I feel happy. I love what I’m doing. I learned to appreciate small and big things, good and bad things from God. Because everything I have and who I am now is all came from God.
I taught my kids to help me during the first year of operation. The eldest was in-charge in selling, taking orders, and answering phone calls (she’s really good in that now and graduating from College now ), the youngest was in-charge in texting the clients, answering email inquiries, and updating the website, (she’s taking Architecture now). Can you imagine we overcome the hardship of one year business operation?
