One day when I was at the roof top of our rented house, I saw a man fixing his house. I got an idea. Why not try to advertise home repair service. I prayed to God about this. If this was his will, let Him guided me.I had no computer that time. So I went to a computer shop and rent there. I had no other name in my mind but JRS, not to stand for my name but to stand for the name of Jesus Real Saviour (JRS). Because He’s really a saviour. Cash was really limited I had no budget to rent a computer shop all the time. God guided me and gave me a friend in the church whom I could stay and used computer. Day and night I was there, advertising the home repair service of JRSCONTRACTORS, small repair only such as: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and so on. November 12, 2008 client from Forbes Park responded to my ads. I hired a plumber to fix the leakage from their sink and toilet and I charged them P3,500.00. After that, many clients called us to do some small repair in their home. And because of God’s assistance, services expanded. Clients requested for some other services and that request, God transferred this to me as an idea. I let God guided me the way to do it. God provided my family our daily needs. I asked God for my office to establish. I prayed for it and planned how to get it. God gave me an idea to look for people who could help me establish an office. Once again I advertised and thanked God four people responded to my ads. We looked for an office near our church. We inquired the building where I always passed by and prayed to be my office. But you know God really wants to give what is best for us. One of them found a unit at Cityland Shaw Tower and the unit was far beyond my expection. Again, I was so amazed with the wonders of the Lord. All of us agreed to get the unit. They let me signed it under my name! I told them I don’t have cash yet and had no check to give for a bond. But one of them trusted me and she let me used her check to pay the unit. All of them gave me the payment and I paid it directly to the Cityland Broker. They helped me to process necessary things such as telephone and internet facilities. The idea was just a small office desk for me because I had no cash contribution with them. When we started the operation, one of them didn’t push thru because she needed to go to the states and she let me use her office share. I forgot her name anymore. I don’t know if she’s an angel of God or God used her to give me assistance. But really many thanks to her.
It was March 23, 2009 when JRS Contractors officially run the business as a business entity. Among the three of us starting the business operation, I was the only one who had no office equipment, such as computer, phone, cellphone, office table and staff. But I didn’t feel pitty but I feel honored to have an office. Thank God there was a spare office table there that the previous tenant didn’t get anymore. After five months of operation my co-office share whose business is in computer selling didn’t work well. They left me. The next few months, my other co-office share whose business is in lending and travel agency didn’t work well,left me too . They have capital but the business didn’t go well with them. I became so worried at that time. How much more to me? I had no capital and who would help me to pay office expenses? So I trusted God more and more day by day and more completely with all my heart and with all my soul. His word is my strength “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES.” And in that way I kept myself going.
